What Happens When Meta Puts You in Jail... A Note From Our Founder
If you've been wondering why you haven't seen Saving Face content on Instagram lately, founder Brooke Nichol wanted to personally share what happened.
What Happened to Our Account
Back in December, both the Saving Face Austin Instagram account and Brooke's personal brand account, Live Beautiful Longer, were unexpectedly removed. The post that triggered the shutdown was an educational one discussing peptides and some of the most exciting advancements in longevity medicine. There was no nudity, bullying, or inappropriate content — just information intended to educate the community.
Unfortunately, the accounts were permanently removed, and despite the team's efforts, they were unable to be recovered.
Brooke Nichol, Founder of Saving Face, says:
"I won't pretend it wasn't difficult. Over the years, we invested countless hours, energy, creativity, and resources into building those communities. More importantly, we built meaningful relationships with so many of you through those platforms. Losing that connection felt like a significant loss."
Connections Matter More Than Algorithms
As many in the Saving Face community know, Brooke believes growth often comes from adversity. After allowing herself the space to process the disappointment, she chose to focus on what truly matters: the mission, the relationships, and the community.
"At Saving Face, we've always believed that authentic connections matter more than algorithms. While social media platforms may change, our commitment to helping you look, feel, and live your best remains exactly the same."
So, the team is starting fresh.
