Refreshing Your Appearance With Dermal Fillers

As the years pass, the body stops producing the same quantity of HA, and your skin begins to lose that firm, supple quality. Our dermal fillers in Austin, also known as volumizers, can be injected to restore lost volume and totally refresh your look. At Saving Face, our injector team brings over 80 years of combined experience, delivering expertly placed treatments that enhance your natural features with precision, safety, and artistry.

How Do Facial Fillers Work?

Our facial fillers in Austin use a synthetic form of hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance your body naturally produces to keep skin hydrated and plump. When expertly injected, dermal fillers, such as those from the Juvéderm or Restylane family, restore lost facial volume, smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, and enhance natural contours. By attracting and retaining moisture, these non-surgical treatments deliver a refreshed, youthful appearance with little to no downtime.

Common Areas Dermal Fillers Treat

  • Marionette lines
  • Nasolabial folds (laugh lines)
  • Vertical lip lines
  • Lip thinning
  • Lip asymmetry
  • Flat or deflated cheeks
  • Under-eye hollows
  • Jawline definition loss
  • Weak or recessed chin
  • Temple hollowing
  • Early jowling
  • Downturned mouth corners

The Dermal Filler Procedure: What to Expect

Your facial filler experience begins with a personalized consultation at Saving Face. We’ll discuss your goals, evaluate your facial anatomy, and recommend a treatment plan designed to enhance your natural features, never overfill or overcorrect.

During Treatment

Dermal filler appointments are typically quick and comfortable, often lasting 30–60 minutes depending on the areas you're having treated. A topical numbing agent may be applied beforehand to minimize discomfort. Using precise injection techniques, your provider will strategically place the filler to restore volume and refine contours.

Immediately After

You’ll notice improvement right away, though mild swelling is normal and can last a few days depending on the area treated (lips tend to swell more than cheeks or jawline). Some minor bruising is possible. Most of our patients return to work, errands, or social plans the same day. We recommend avoiding intense workouts, excessive heat, or alcohol for 24 hours to minimize swelling and bruising.

When You’ll See Final Results

Initial results are visible right away. As swelling settles over the next several days, your outcome becomes more refined and natural-looking. Longevity depends on the area treated and the type of filler used, but most results last 6–18 months. Our goal isn’t to change your face; it’s to restore structure and volume so you look refreshed, balanced, and like yourself!

Facial Fillers and Lips: Plumping and Reshaping

Your lips also lose volume, and some of us were born with thinner lips. Certain dermal fillers were developed to add lip volume and smooth vertical lip lines. The outcome should look natural, plump, and appealing, never overfilled.

That takes injection skills! If you have always wanted fuller lips, whether top, bottom, or both, or want a more pronounced Cupid’s bow, specialized dermal fillers in Austin are available at Saving Face.

I Have Lines From My Nose to My Chin – Will Fillers Help?

A private consultation will reveal the best way to smooth away these lines, which are called “marionette lines.” Facial fillers are available specifically to treat this area, and when injected carefully and correctly, will leave you looking for younger, with the marionette lines smoothed.

Let's Talk Liquid Facelift? Does it Work?

A liquid facelift is a custom combination of injectables, geared to subtly lift your facial skin. It may include injections of neuromodulators (BOTOXXeominDysport, or Jeuveau) and dermal fillers. As you age, cheek volume reduces, which is why you may be left with less definition at the jawline and deeper laugh lines. Certain dermal fillers were developed to add cheek volume, which raises the entire area. Whether you want a more sculpted facial look or want to look years younger without surgery, a non-surgical facelift could be your answer.

I Love to Laugh, but Now I Have Deep Laugh Lines. Will Fillers Solve My Problem?

One of the most common signs of aging skin is the appearance of etched-in laugh lines. With the right dermal filler, whether a Juvéderm or Restylane formula, those laugh lines can be smoothed away, giving you a more youthful, refreshed appearance, and won’t affect your expressions.

Can Dermal Fillers Smooth Lip Lines in a Way That Looks Natural?

One of the most exciting fillers to be developed, Juvéderm Volbella, was specifically designed to smooth lip lines. It is a very thin gel formula and is injected with a very fine needle so the lip line is filled in without giving you a puffy, unnatural look. It is also the perfect product to add subtle volume to aging or thin lips. Schedule a consultation at Saving Face to learn more about our facial fillers in Austin.

Which Dermal Filler Is the Best?

The 'best facial filler' is the formula that will produce the best results on the facial area you want to smooth. Each formula is slightly different and developed to treat different areas. You may need one or more types of fillers for your treatment. There are formulas for lips, mild to moderate lines and creases, deeper lines and creases, and specifically for vertical lip lines.
